Flushing Walleye Festival

The Flushing Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors The Annual Flushing Walleye Festival in March at St. Robert’s Activity Center (310 N. Cherry Street).

The Walleye Festival was initially designed to promote Flushing’s natural asset, the Flint River and has grown to promote all Michigan waters.  The festival brings in over 350 fishermen and women and over 5,000 persons for its outdoor expo, fish dinner, and other entertainment and activities.  In efforts to continue maximizing attendance and appeal, we hope to have our 10th anniversary, the best thus far.

    The event features:

  • Outdoor Show Exhibits
  • Fish Fry
  • Trout Pond
  • Outdoor Show
  • Firefighter’s Pancake Breakfast
  • Guest Speakers
  • Texas Hold’em Tournament/Poker Night
  • Youth Group
  • Chili Cook-off
